Patrick was a great host. Very helpful and quick to respond. The cottage was adorable. Like a rustic, cozy cabin with all the amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The view was amazing. And located close to Oslo, but was a quiet oasis. Would highly recommend a stay!

They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable (fire for the wood stove and the sauna, hot chocolate/tea with an easy-to-use hotpot, welcome snacks, extra linens). A truly lovely place. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a beautiful property in a stunning location that has been carefully designed to maximise the views of the Oslo Fjord from the main living area. The villa was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a very good shower. Ellen, the host was friendly and welcoming, providing timely communications. Thoughtful extras like fresh flowers and a Norwegian cookbook were appreciated. We would highly recommend this property and would be very happy to return if travelling to the area again.

There’s a ferry that takes you to Oslo in 25 mn, parking at the terminal and the ride is very enjoyable. This house is absolutely gorgeous. You would enjoy every minute not to mention the view. Don’t miss this place, it would be a pity.
