It was a fantastic place in a beautiful setting. A wonderful family runs the guesthouse. Everything is new and clean. I highly recommend it.

Boasting a garden and views of quiet street, Casa de Campo da Quinta da Pegada is a country house set in a historic building in Óbidos, 1.3 km from Obidos Castle. I liked all of it. The host was very welcoming and available. The house was historic, clean, comfortable and a 15 minute walk to the centre of Óbidos and plenty of free parking available. The complementary cakes, coffee etc added a lovely touch to the whole experience. My room was clean, spacious, with a great shower and quiet. This is excellent value for money and I will certainly be back.

The apartment was really much much over our expectations. It was like we were the first travelers there. Very comfortable, very well designed, and nothing was missing. The location was perfect. It was really quite area and very close to the center.

Set within 3.2 km of Obidos Castle and 42 km of Monastery of Alcobaca, Quinta do Oratório Agroturismo features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Óbidos. Absolutely loved the stay there! Clean new comfy rooms done in a good taste, superfriendly hosts (that started with great precommunication up until lending an iron on the spot etc) and the rural setting. It felt remote, in the middle of the countryside, but at the same time the lovely Obidos with its bustle was right next door (a very short drive or also a doable walk). We enjoyed the breakfast brought to the door in the morning (what a tasty bread!) and also the pool with views to the valley. The setting of the rooms next to each other but with a joint corridor (and possibility to lock from outside) suited perfectly when travelling with 2 families (incl 4 kids). The dog, sheep, goats and horses were also a big hit :)

Located in Alenquer, 34 km from Obidos Castle, Sóis Montejunto Eco Lodge provides accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, a spa and wellness centre and an open-air bath. Really quiet place, ideal to rest away from from the big city. The view is magnificent. The staff was extremely nice, always willing to help either on the property or with local tips.
