Thailand as it once was. Basic though, but it has to be so to perfectly fit in the surroundings.

Featuring a balcony with garden views, a garden and a bar, Phayam Valley Homestay can be found in Ko Phayam, close to Ao Khao Kwai South Beach and 1.9 km from Ao Mae Mai Beach. I loved everything about this place. The spacious bungalows, the porch and hammock above the pond, good food, close to a quiet beach.

Tiger homestay 2 Phayam is situated in Ko Phayam, 1.4 km from Ao Mae Mai Beach, 2.6 km from Koh Payam, as well as 1.3 km from Ko Phayam Harbour. Normally I don’t write reviews, but I really can’t understand the negative rating. The view is absolutely stunning, the room is clean and very stylish! For me, this is the best accommodation of my entire Thailand trip so far. Yes, there is no Wi-Fi and no hot water (similar to most places on the island). Regarding getting there: if you drive yourself, you should have some experience. It’s only accessible by scooter, so arriving with a trolley can be difficult. Either ask one of the scooter taxi drivers for help, or book just one night and bring only the essentials. Bring snacks and water ;) You won't regret.

Owner extremely helpful, offering high-quality Scoopy motorbike rental with pickup at the pier. Best price for aircon on the island by far. Location nicely quiet and near a beautiful temple and sunrise views right around the corner (no particular view from the smaller rooms). Aircon and shower water very strong. Would recommend this spot as a great base for exploring the island.

Bungalows are serviced with clean towels everyday.the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I will definitely go back!!
