Our stay at Kate’s place in North Bend was nothing short of exceptional. Her attention to detail is truly unmatched—every space felt thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the bathrooms had everything you could possibly need, and the living spaces were both beautiful and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, it genuinely felt like coming home rather than staying in a rental. The backyard and property were just as lovely as the interior—peaceful, well cared for, and a perfect place to relax or barbecue, perfect views. What really set this experience apart, though, was Kate herself. She has such a kind, neighborly presence that immediately made us feel welcome upon our arrival. It honestly felt like the kind of place where you could knock on her door to borrow a cup of sugar and be met with a smile. To be honest it rained almost nonstop our entire stay, but we turned on the fireplace and made plans to return. So many amenities it's hard to fully describe. This is hands down one of the most well-maintained and inviting places we’ve ever stayed. Kate was absolutely fantastic, and we will definitely be back for another visit.

Paul met us when we arrived to show us the apartment and took us on a tour of his garden, pointing out the various vegetables and fruit we were free to pick. He'd also picked us some and had them in a bowl on the kitchen bar counter. He was a great resourced to ask questions and recommended a number of things to see, all of which were wonderful!

We enjoyed the darts game , bonfire , hot tub and also got lucky seeing deers crossing river while enjoying these amenities. This is located close to National park and easy to get in and out. Views in backyard are magnificent.
