He was very welcoming and accommodating to my last minute booking and was able to pick me up within a couple of hours. His English was great and it was a pleasure learning from him on Vietnam and his village. Wifi was great, place was clean and food at cafe tasty with a home cooked vibe.

He gave us great recommendations of things to do while in Ben Tre. He also shared stories of his family and Vietnams history. We rented a bike from the homestay for a fair price and it was in perfect condition, the best condition of any bike we’ve had in Vietnam! The property is so beautiful and in a really nice quiet part of the town. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Mekong

In our month in Vietnam, when visiting both the North and South, we stayed in a variety of places from very nice hotels to home stays.They were all very different and mostly very good to excellent. We stayed in Nong Trai Thann Thoi for 4 nights as a base to ride our bicycles around this area of the Mekong Delta. Our experience was excellent, from the tucked away location on the side of the river (did some yoga overlooking the Delta most evenings), the separate (well appointed) very private cabins, the beautiful grounds, fabulous food, and very very nice owner and staff. Although not a focus of our stay, with all these positives, it was, also, extremely good value.
