The high ceilings were great. It was a minute off the Camino, so it was quieter than the albergues on the route I suppose. I didn't ride a bicycle, but others that night did and they could put their bikes inside the main door (which was the entrance to a mini square with chairs and plants). The bathroom was quite good. The common area was comfortable with tea and a water kettle. I liked being able to dry clothes on a rack outside that had direct sunlight until sunset.

What a beautiful place on the heart of the Camino. We loved our stay here, the rooms were immaculately clean, comfortable & quiet. We slept so well! Great shower. The owners are gentle and kind. The ‘Salon’ and the breakfast area were wonderful & We had a full load of laundry done too.

the property was outstanding. the best in our three weeks away from home. Carlos was so helpful and the breakfast was full of local produce. The rooms and communal area were beautiful, luxurious and well appointed. I absolutely recommend this small, family owned hotel

Via Avis really exceeded my (already high) expectations. The whole place was so beautiful and lovingly put together. our room was gorgeous- I’d booked a room with a bath and it was glorious! The hotel was quiet when we were there and I had some work to do so was able to hang out in the gorgeous and peaceful living room looking out at the view. Our host was really helpful and friendly and recommended some fantastic local diner options. Breakfast was as stylish as the hotel. We loved our stay and will definitely be back :-) Thank you!

A very quiet, cosy place where you feel at home from the very first minute. Carlos and Daina a really great hosts, one of the nicest places we have ever been travelling this world. We will surely come back one day to walk St. James Way again.

When you come through the carriage door into the courtyard, it feels like you’re entering a little oasis, and the hosts have done their best to make sure that the rest of your stay feels the same. From the luxury towels and linens, through the fantastic shower and lounge with a view, to the sumptuous breakfast (with candles and calming music to make the start to your day easier), this is a gem on the Camino, and strongly recommended.
