Room was lovely, bed very comfortable and the balcony overlooking the lake is fantastic. It was very quiet and peaceful. Lots of nice extra touches, including leaving a birthday card for my partner. Parking was easy, and there is a good play park for children. All round excellent stay.

The lodge is spacious, very comfortable and offers everything you need in a self catering place. It was very quiet and peaceful looking onto a well cared for garden. We were very warmly welcomed and also met Willow the friendly resident cat. We had dinner in the Twelve Bells, which was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.
