Country Houses in Piombino

It's a really big and comfortable apartment, with some entertainment for kids outside but definitely more for animals/dogs. The owner was very helpful with information where we can buy water, juice on Easter day as everything was normally closed. She also welcomes us with coffee and for kids chocolate eggs. Thank you

Interiore and exterion of apartment, clealiness, equipment

There are many positive things to say about this piece of heaven that Riccardo and Donatella are running for 7 years. The tasteful way they designed the garden, refurbished the villa and its apartments is lovely. They managed to combine the old with the new amazingly well and, despite preserving the old so well, no modern amenities were left out. Therefore, we enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), the super fresh bathroom and the AC in both rooms, just in case it might get colder, the way it did for us, off season. The view from the villa is amazing wherever one is looking: the beautiful garden, the sea (1km away) or the Toscan hills are on sight. The on-premise parking was a good addition. Last but not least, the bed was great, paired well with the window blinds and the overall silence in the settlement in order to enable the greatest of sleep. We found the owners to be somewhat inspirational as they are matching fully what they created and they are warm, service minded and a long standing couple. All on all, this place was so good that it definitely convinced us to come back one day, not too far ahead in the future.

Excelent calm location with super views and away from crowds. Spacy living room and cute outside sitting space. Well equipped kitchen. Friendly owner - we even got a pizza right from the fire furnace.

This was the worst experience during holidays. As a star, the apartment did not match the description on booking, no sea view, no internet and fridge didn’t work, but all that was minor in comparison, the main issue was that the beds had a BEDBUG INFESTATION. My daughter had bites in her arms and legs. They took hours to give us a solution and we moved with two kids at 2:00 am, to a very very small apartment( less than half what we paid for)that seems they are finalising renovations as it missed a lot of basic things, and is in the mountains, far from what we booked and again no internet. We complained and asked for a solution, they were always taking hours and hours to respond and not picking up the phone( because she was working in their restaurant, which seems more important) .They said a sanitation took place two days later and we could move back but it seems it was not true as on the day( after more than 20 unanswered calls and texts for hours) they said we can’t move back , the sanitation company said it needed another treatment, and they don’t provide any alternative. After a lot of complains they even proposed we could move back( against the sanitisers advise!!) but only to the part with no bedbugs, but only if “ she didn’t hear from me again” , of course we didn’t accept putting in risk my kids' health( again) and they did not provide any alternative, then at night they proposed us to use the apartment by ours to sleep as it was just vacant, but surprise!! It wasn’t cleaned nor had anything in beds!! So we didn’t. The lack of customer service was appalling and they are continuously ignored us . They have ruined our holidays, and we will start a formal claim proceeding. We can’t upload videos , but I have them of the bedbugs jumping on the bed.

beautiful house and backyard. the apartments and the furniture unfortunately very simple. made us feel uncomfortable. sad, because the house has lots of potential! very simple towels (thin) and we had to make the bed by ourself. to experience for what you get. electricity didn’t work every once in a while. stuff was friendly.

The accommodation is in an exceptionally quiet location, where you will only meet hotel guests.

The place is wonderfull; ideal for having a rest in beautiful scenery with a lot of space outside. We totally recommend!

Our stay was very pleasant. The hostess is very nice, although she doesn't speak a word english, but google translate helped us out. The location is beautiful, but you definitly need a (rental) car to get there.
