Set in Kandy, 800 metres from Bogambara Stadium, swp eco lodge offers air-conditioned rooms and a garden. View, Location, Room, Architecture were all exceptional. Highly recommended. Short steep hill to climb to get to hotel, but that is what provides the wonderful lake view. Short walk to town and markets, and tooth temple a reasonable walk, also. Nice a la carte breakfast either Sri Lankan or western. Staff were all very nice and professional.

The staff was soooo nice and helpfull. Airport pick up was amazing! Was really nice first stay in Sri Lanka :) we had amazing sri lanka breakfast. Recommended

Óriás választék van a reggelinél , szuperek az éttermek főleg a BigFish. Szép és gondozott a kert! A személyzetet külön kiemelném , mindenki nagyon kedves mosolygós és segítőkész! Mi annyira megszerettük a helyet hogy még egy plussz hetet maradtunk amire még kedvezményt is kaptunk a csodálatos személyzet segítségével!! Csak ajánlani tudom!!!

During our two and a half week trip through Sri Lanka, the Lion Gate Hotel was the best accommodation we stayed in. Bernard gave us a very warm welcome and provided us with a wonderful stay in an oasis of well-being. During our trip, the search for small, authentic and nice accommodation was unfortunately somewhat difficult. The Lion Gate Hotel ultimately met all our expectations and not only did we have a great starting point for our activities around Sigiriya but also a place where we really enjoyed going to simply relax. The rooms are very nice, the facilities are new and modern. The service should be emphasized. Any type of requests were fulfilled immediately. I can highly recommend staying at Lion Gate Hotel.

It was my last day after 1 month traveling in SEA and it was probably the best hospitality i ever had. Due to an issue with my visa I wasn't in the best mood when i arrived but Terin welcomed me like i was part of his family, offered me a beer and we talked like long time friends. Such a lovely person that deserves only the best in life. If you need to spend a night near Bandaranaike airport, look no further than here, you will have a blast.
