Biplan Hotel is located in a renovated 19th century building in central Daugavpils, 500 metres from Daugava River. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Nagyon kényelmes, tágas szobában laktunk. A hotelnak saját zárt parkolója van, a fiaim számára különösen érdekes felszerelésekkel (pl. van ott egy ágyú). A reggeli bőséges volt. A recepciós hölgy nagyon kedves volt és segítőkész. We were in a very comfortable, spacious room. The hotel has its own private car park. In the car park, with equipment of particular interest to my son (eg there is a cannon). Breakfast was abundant. The receptionist lady was very nice and helpful.

Excellent hotel,very friendly and helpful staff,perfect location in heart of old town,very comfortable room,standerd breakfast,but plenty of it.

A 4 csillagos Radi Un Draugi Hotel épülete Riga óvárosának szívében található, 5 perces sétára a történelmi Dome-székesegyháztól. Nagyon jó az elhelyezkedése. Személyzet nagyon segítőkész. Rigát kivàlóan meg lehet ismerni csillagtúraszerűen ebből a szállodából. Volt vízforraló a szobában, így reggel rögtön kvval tudtam kezdeni.

Our stay was just excellent and really exceeded my expectations! Hotel is situated in calm area and decorated so nicely, that you feel a slight throwback to past - historical buildings, stained glass and verandas, modern and unobtrusive interior and extremely comfy bed. I would really recommend this place for nice weekend getaway!

Located in Rīga in the Vidzeme Region, 100 metres from Latvian National Opera, Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga features a spa centre and sauna. What a lovely indulgence! I last stayed at a Kempinski hotel (the Adlon Kempinski in Berlin) when I was part of a film star's retinue (some 11 years ago) and suspected the impeccable and attentive service at the time may have had something to do with that... I'm so pleased to report that I received the exact same level of service traveling as a perfectly normal tourist. Every member of staff, from the front desk to the bartenders etc, proved incredibly friendly and service oriented. We had one slight hiccup (that was no doubt language oriented) when our bar bill came - two versions of a snack: we'd deliberately ordered the considerably cheaper version of caviar but been charged for the much more expensive one - it was taken care of in the blink of an eye with zero fuss. Our room was sumptuous and beautiful with a great view over the rooftops to the church steeple. I could have spend days in the gigantic bathtub alone. Such a fantastic all round experience that from now on I will always check if there's a Kempinski hotel at an affordable rate available no matter where I travel. Thank you for making our weekend getaway to Riga such a pleasure.
