Maison Du Nord is like small heaven on earth. Spatious rooms and a really great breakfast. We stayed at 4 different places in Mauritius, this one had by far the best breakfast of all! The owner Vishnu (who also created this little paradise I think) is such a great, warmhearted man. There is a lot of staff on site and everyone is so genuinely open, warm and available. Staying at this place really leveled up our Mauritius holidays.

We loved everything about The Residence!! This place was immaculate, beautiful, peaceful, friendly. We loved it all. So much choice at breakfast and dinner. Attentive and friendly staff. Lots of choice of daytime activities. And the sunrise...that just makes it. I'd definitely recommend The Residence.

An amazing place to stay, especially if you're traveling alone, on a budget, and don't need a hotel with beach club access. The hotel is just a 7-minute walk from one of the best public beaches on the island—Pereybere. It's also a great spot to work on your computer and meet new people.

Rooms/units are spacious and well equipped and appointed with kitchenette.
Breakfast ordered additional on first morning was excellent - got us good on our way to the markets and shops to get our fresh food for the week.
Brilliantly manicured gardens, pool is modern and beautiful views, next to Mon Choisy Beach so truly a good location.
Highly recommended establishment - have done the "inclusive resorts" three times prior and must confess - Mon Choisy Beach Res won our hearts. Our new home when on the islsnd!
