Offering bright rooms with designer furniture and a luxurious décor, Carnaval Hotel Casino is located in Encarnación. The property features free WiFi access, a fitness centre and spa facilities. We loved our stay at this hotel. Although we arrived very early after a 14 hour bus ride from Buenos Aires, we received a lovely welcome from the girl behind the reception (we didn't catch her name but she was working the morning of the 19th July), and she in particular was very helpful throughout our stay. All the staff were very friendly in actual fact. Because of this the hotel felt more homely than most upmarket hotels. Very little English is spoken, but you can get by. The restaurant is well worth trying out for dinner, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel also provides a car and driver for trips to Trinidad and Jesus, it was $60 between the two of us, and I got the impression the driver would have been happy to Itaipu if we had had the energy! There is a Casino a 100 metres down the road (part of the same complex) which is great fun at the weekend, it really gets going when the DJs crank it up. The bus stop for Posadas is across the road so you don't have to go to the terminal. There's an ATM, shop, pharmacy, and a really tasty Chinese restaurant next door as well. The hotel is a bit far from the beach but with everything I mentioned here so close by, you don't have to move far from it.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and fitness centre, Factoria Hotel is set in Asuncion, 3.6 km from United Nations Information Centre. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. It is a beatifull hotel. Everything in the hotel is antique (except the building itself) and follows a consistent style. The staff is professional and very nice. One of the staff members even accompanied us for a city tour (to translate - without extra charge).

Located in Asuncion, 4.1 km from General Pablo Rojas Stadium, Palmaroga Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a bar. Beautiful hotel close to every attraction. Room was amazing, high ceilings, renovated 1900 building. 5 star accommodation and 5 star service. Nice and extremely helpful staff. Great rooftop pool.

The staff were very good especially Marcos on reception who was very helpful with anything we wanted help with or advice on anything we asked,also very polite and made us feel very welcome

This is one of the best hotels in Paraguay. The hotel is beautiful and the attention is top notch. Everything is clean. Beds and rooms are amazing. Staff are very helpful. The restaurant is good too. Fresh fruit, juice, baked goods, eggs at breakfast and great coffee. We were leaving the hotel on a sunny Sunday on our most recent trip and they let us have late checkout since no one was coming into the room. Stayed 3 times over the last 3 years and my review would be the same each time, we will definitely be back. Two thumbs way up!
