The team was very attentive and caring, and made our vacation perfect. We felt very secluded, and even had the pool only for ourselves for one afternoon. Breakfast was very good. As instagram addicts, we had so many photo opportunities in the beautiful garden and pool.

I have never written a review before for a hotel but felt compelled to for this hotel because it was truly the best hospitality experience of my life! I typically only choose hotels featured on Tablet (where I found this) so have stayed in a range of high end hotels but this hotel was uniquely impressive in every way. The location was magnificent- remote and set atop a cliff face with the sea at high tide directly against the cliff and at low tide exposing a stunning white sand bank (effectively a pristine, isolated beach) which you can walk out to. The hotel consisted of 9 coral limestone walled suites set among jungle and fruit trees. The pool was beautiful and the sunbeds very comfortable. Since there is a maximum occupancy of just 18 guests in this hotel there was never any rushing to a cabana- you felt free to go wherever you wanted whenever you wanted without ever contending with hoards of sunbathers (never more than 10 at any one time and no kids to be found). The lounge area was such a perfect area to relax/read/eat and watch the sunset with a drink. The small nature of the hotel created an incredibly personal and attentive experience- we got to know the staff so well and they consistently went above and beyond expectations, even organising laundry for free and accommodating both a super early check in and late check out for us. Juliette, Enoc, Hawa and the rest of the team were absolutely incredible and treated us like family. For my birthday the team organised an incredible meal out on the sundeck overlooking the ocean, baked me a cake which they brought out whilst singing and dancing and treated us to a couple's massage which was so appreciated! I also had the most incredible yoga (with meditation) session on the rooftop the day we arrived with teacher Zoe- part of the hotel's timetable.

Marafiki Beach Hotel & SPA ligt aan het strand van Matemwe en biedt accommodatie met een bar, een zwembad, een tuin en een 24-uursreceptie. -breakfast ...very tasty and enough variations to chooose. and all the meal we tryed in restaurant was delicious -staff...very helpfull and always smiling -quiet and clean accomodation, we had everythig we needed ...we spent here 14 nights and did some trips, every time we came back we were glad that we made this choice..is a small peace of heave for thouse who would like to spend relaxing holiday, I am shore we would stay again...
