Overlooking the iconic Umhlanga Lighthouse and Indian Ocean, The Oyster Box is a 5-star hotel offering timeless luxury and comfort as part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection. Room was gorgeous - lovely location in the trees with a treehouse vibe. More spacious than expected. Staff went out of their way to make the most of our birthday celebration. Breakfasts are excellent.

We entered a brand new complex, modern, well designed. Kind receptionist helped quickly with the luggage to the room. We booked a family suite with pool entrance. An amazing unit for families and friends. A straight 1 min walk to the front lookout to the ocean. A great location in the center of everything. Very safe strolling around, also at night time.

Situated within the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg World Heritage Site, this 4-star hotel is surrounded by gardens and overlooks the Drakenberg Mountains. Absolutely our favourite stay in South Africa! Quiet, peaceful with the best views on the mountains! And all the hiking routes available are wonderful! We had great food, the staff are friendly and the cats are very friendly as well.
