The Hotel Hottingen was renovated in 2023 and is centrally located, 500 metres from the Kunsthaus Zürich museum, next to the Hottingerplatz bus and tram stop. It offers free Wi-Fi.

Hotel Hottingen is an excellent hotel, modern and well situated in the University quarter. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the ‘Business’ room situated on the top floor has a generous single bed, with desk, fridge and en suite facilities and is superb! The fridge contained a complimentary soft drink and a beer. There is a kettle with tea and coffee and a carafe was provided to put tap water (perfectly drinkable) in and to cool it in the fridge. The other room allocated had a balcony and a double bed with great facilities. The breakfast offered a wide variety of continental and hot items. The boiled eggs were superb! Easily accessible by tram from the main railway station and close to the Kunthaus and other attractions. Staff were available, helpful and polite. I would highly recommend Hotel Hottingen.
