Mitsis Blue Domes surpassed my expectations - we moved from a local hotel due to issues there and Blue Domes took my booking the dame day. The room (bungalow with garden view) was huge, great big beds and brilliant Air-con. Bath with shower and separate show cubicle, as well as little touches such as a stocked mini bar (every day) and teas/coffees, as well as a beach bag and big beach towels changeable every day. The resort was beautiful, with plenty of food places and drinks places scattered around including a-la Carte. As a party of 2, we manged to book in for 3 a la cartes for a 5 day stay at very short notice. All meals at the buffet restaurant were extremely fresh and tasty - whilst it may look smaller that you expect, it was all fresh, tasty and good quality, there just wasn't the duplication that you see at other resorts which in my eyes is not a bad thing at all! We had steaks, fresh beautiful salads, lots of fresh chicken, breads, and then traditional Greek dishes like beef stifado and gyros. It was my Birthday the first day and the restaurant staff (at the request of my 13 year old) came and brough me a cake and sang Happy Birthday which was a beautiful surprise. There is a health bar with smoothies and salads available, plus also a crepe and waffle bar with icecream and other desserts, as well as Gyros at the beach and burgers and chips by the pool bar. All were beautiful and very quick. I have high expectations of hotels, and the Blue Domes tops all of the greek hotels I have stayed at almost every year for the last 8 years.

All the rooms have a balcony and a nice view. We've stayed here 3 or 4 times and opt for a junior suite. Don't get too excited, but they are a little bigger. The breakfast is good, plus you can eat in a light "verandah" room which also has nice views. The hotel is very well located and is about a 10-15 minute walk from the two ferry piers.

Great location near the town on a lovely bit of beach, nice gym fab pool and bar. Lovely friendly staff.

One of the best experiences of vacation we ever had. We were a group of 6 people, and all of us felt the same. The staff service was exceptional starting from Maria at the reception through all different departments staff and Christa at the breakfast restaurant. Everyone gave us a service from the bottom of their hearts. One of us celebrated birthday and the hotel staff made it so special. Food was great, the pool was enormous and so peaceful. Definitely, a place to come back.

This hotel has everything you need for perfect and relaxed vacation. We got upgrade to executive room with beautiful view and it really enhanced our stay - next time we would definitely book that room type. Pools are amazing, food is good, staff is very kind and polite, we felt very welcomed. If you have small children, there are two great playgrounds in this resort, our little girl really enjoyed. Hotel also has nice, mostly sandy beach, so you actually don't have to even leave the resort during your stay if you don't want to.

Stayed 1 night, booked night before arriving. 3 adults and a 6yo. Chosen due to location near shops, harbour and restaurants and because they had a pool. Staff were friendly (although finding our reservation and checking in took un unreasonable amount of time). All amenities in the room were present and functional, just of a basic, older standard. Nice with a separate kids pool when the big party kids took over the large pool.

A large and well laid out property. Some parts are a little dated, but nothing bad. We had room 615 and had 3 kids upstairs in our bungalow and two parents downstairs. The main pools are all salt water and the children’s shallow pool is chlorine. We spent many fun days swimming. The beach is also fantastic. The meals at the buffet are great. We ate at the Greek restaurant, but do not recommend it. You’d be much better off eating at a local spot on Kos town, for better value and authentic Greek food. All in all, the buffet was fine for meals. Lunch at the outside pool bar is also recommended, as you can go and eat straight from the pool- no dress code. We really enjoyed this property. The staff were also exceptional.

The pool was clean with sunbeds always available. The accommodation is basic but spotless. We stayed four nights and had sheet and towel changes. It wouldn't be suitable really for self catering but there is a kettle, two ring hob and sink in the room with some basic pots, knives, glasses etc. Bathroom was fine but you had to climb into the bath for a shower so wouldn't be good for anyone with mobility issues. Quiet location with walk of about 20 minutes to Kos Marina.
