Truly had the best day being guided around Semuc Champey by David who grew up exploring the area and knows the best spots to show you. The in-house tienda, shuttle booking and affordable restaurant made our stay so easy and relaxing. So happy to stay with this lovely family!

Staff are so friendly & welcoming some even remember your name which is a lovely touch. Hostel has everything in terms of an ATM run, shuttles available that are good prices and a great semuc tour. Great place to stay and relax, ended up extending by 1 night more :)

Had the luxury of a double bed to myself and was very comfortable and well priced. Food cooked there was delicious!! Family were so kind and helpful. Construction is going on but hardly disturbing as you spend most of the time at the river and common area and its away from the street, so good night sleep too. Great tour to semuc, definitely worth the money and we hardly ever jump on tour offers.

Super helpful staff. Friendly atmosphere. They let me check in early and they do an amazing work of accommodating everyone and their tour, eating, leaving schedules.

The dorm room was comfortable and clean, obviously insects are to be expected when staying in the jungle but mosquito nets were provided and kept them away whilst sleeping. The food was great and relatively cheap and the tour to semuc champay with the hostel was so much fun, would 100% recommend. Hostel also provides free tuc tucs to and from shuttle drop off which was ideal. Thank you for a gorgeous stay 😍GeorgiaSolo traveller
