We spent 7 magical days at Gradonna Mountain Resort . The location is simply unbeatable. Every morning we woke up to mountain views that took our breath away. The resort is the perfect base for hiking — Dorfertal valley and Dorfersee glacial lake, the trails to Lucknerhütte with its direct views of Großglockner and countless other marked trails suitable for all levels The sports and wellness programme is truly exceptional. The hotel offers an incredible range of activities like yoga sessions to guided functional training classes . Hotel also offers guided hikes with a Hohe Tauern National Park ranger, exclusively for hotel guests. The wellness area deserves its own paragraph. Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, infrared sauna — all immaculate, never overcrowded. The Aufguss sauna ritual was a highlight I looked forward to every day And the outdoor pool — swimming with an unobstructed view of the mountains around is an experience I will never forget. Absolute mountain magic. After long hiking hours , this combination was pure heaven. The food was outstanding. The half-board dinner menu changed every single evening — creative, sophisticated, using the finest local and regional ingredients. The breakfast buffet set us up perfectly for long hiking. The staff made our stay truly special. Always warm, professional and genuinely helpful — from recommending hiking routes to organizing our daily activities. Nothing was too much trouble. Gradonna is not just a hotel. It is an experience. We will be back. ❤️🏔️
