The Vilvoorde Lodge offers modern rooms with free WiFi in the wing of an historic building. This former house of correction has a 24-hour front desk and is located 15 minutes’ drive from Brussels. For us it was a perfect stay. We had to come for a fast visit and it gave us the best value for the price. The rooms were clean and healthy. It was so nice that we could still have a drink later in the evening. The breakfast was excellent. Parking places area 😕 in available with cheap day tickets.

This 16th-century former convent offers 4-star facilities and an attractive interior only 280 metres from the Oude Markt in the historic centre of Leuven. Amazing time in Leuven. Perfect place to stay right in the middle of town and all sites. Room was large and clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Enjoying green surroundings in the Sonian Forest, B&B Hippo-Droom in Hoeilaart features an on-site restaurant, a bar, a tour desk and free WiFi access. For us this was a great location on the edge of the forest, with easy access to the ring road and Rhode St Genese. Used to be part of horse farm/stable, so lots of unique character and very comfortable rooms in former stalls. The owner explained ongoing improvements for even more comfort. Free parking available on site. We took a daily walk on trails in the forest, which was lovely.
