I seldom rate hotels as a 10, but for my group and I, the Ariane excelled in all counts!

Hotel Ambrosia is situated in the heart of the beautiful town of Ypres. Vincent, your host, will be happy to welcome you in this small, charming, family-run hotel. What a lovely family run hotel right in the heart of Ypres and yet quiet and cozy. Our room was comfortable, the host so helpful. We needed to park our car and wondered where we could park. He allowed us to park over his own garage entrance, so we were right outside the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and more than adequate. I would have happily stayed longer here. Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent. The owner gave clear instructions about the keys and the parking before arrival (there is a parking permit available for 2hr use for street parking outside the house), and also left a bottle of wine and some Belgian chocolates for us. The apartment was beautiful and bright, huge, peaceful and spotless. We loved falling asleep with the huge windows open onto the private garden and the fresh air. The bathroom is modern but still fits into the character property really well. The location is perfect as it's just a short walk to the main square and Menin Gate. I wish we could have stayed longer as we were very happy at the house.

This hotel was really a surprise. We booked late in the afternoon on the way from one place to another. It was so comfortable! It was immaculately clean and there is a nice restaurant attached as well as a cute gift shop. The items in the gift shop were unexpected and very reasonably priced. I bought a few Christmas gifts here. I would highly recommend this hotel I also want to mention the front desk clerk was as nice and friendly as she could be. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

A 5-minute walk from Ypres’ market square, La Porte Cochere offers elegant country-styled rooms situated in a historic mansion. Free Wi-Fi is available. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, great selection of foods. The room was beautiful, beds and pillows very comfortable. Great location, able to walk everywhere. Will definitely come back.
