Ideally located just 600 metres from Pontal de Maracaípe Natural Pools, Pousada Maracabana Spa offers rooms with balcony. Perfect location, sea front, 15 min beach walk to beautiful coral pools, private parking, easy to get there. Super friendly staff (Spanish/Portuguese speaking). Just like pics, impeccably clean. Delicious breakfast, complimentary tea/coffee and cake 4-5pm in the afternoon. Delicious and very well served lunch/dinner at the hotel restaurant at good price. We stayed in the front corner bedroom with hot bathtub and the most amazing view. We would definitely stay here again!

Set in a beautiful park next to Olinda´s São Francisco Convent, this hotel features a colonial museum and modern rooms. Free Wi-Fi, free parking and a large pool are available. Beautiful setting in a tropical garden. Excellent food on site, with lots of great restaurants in walking distance. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, although only a few spoke anything but Portuguese. The rooms are well equipped and very clean, but it's obvious that the buildings are quite old.

No roads, no crowds—just turquoise water, swaying palms, and the gentle sound of waves. At low tide, natural swimming pools form right in front of the bungalows, perfect for a morning dip without ever leaving “home.” Bungalows: Immaculate & Thoughtful Design Our beachfront bungalow was a masterclass in tropical elegance. High thatched roofs, polished floors, and floor-to-ceiling shutters that opened to uninterrupted ocean views. Every detail felt intentional: A spacious outdoor shower with river-stone flooring Thoughtful touches like locally woven baskets, coconut-shell soap dishes, and a mini-fridge stocked with fresh goodies. The housekeeping team deserves special praise—our space was refreshed twice daily with fresh towels folded into swans and hibiscus flowers scattered across the bed. Spotless doesn’t begin to cover it. Service: Warm & Unobtrusive The staff anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had. Breakfast: A Daily Highlight Served on a deck, the spread was nothing short of phenomenal. Freshly pressed tropical juices (try the cajá-mango blend), warm tapioca pancakes made to order, artisanal cheeses from local farms, and a fruit station that changed daily—pitaya one morning, custard apple the next. Eggs Benedict to perfection. Perfect for Couples Seeking Peace This isn’t a place for pool parties or kids’ clubs—and that’s exactly the point. Wi-Fi is available but gloriously spotty, encouraging you to disconnect. Evenings meant stargazing from our veranda or slow walks along the bioluminescent shoreline. Verdict: 5/5 – Book the beachfront bungalow, pack light, and prepare to fall in love (with each other and this hidden gem).
