Situated right above Lake Brienz, the Hotel Brienzersee (Garni) offers superb views from the rooms and from the lakeside terrace, the Brienzersee hotel is only a 5-minute drive away from the centre of Interlaken. The view you have from the room is really beautiful, it's totally worth it, it's a little distant from Interlaken but the station is 2 minutes from the hotel and you arrive in less than nothing. Customer service is the best and they always keep your room clean. Super recommended

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. It offers views over Lake Brienz and the Giessbach Waterfall,an outdoor pool, 2 restaurants, one of which features a summer terrace. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The few days we spent at Grandhotel Giessbach were truly like a dream. The hotel’s stunning natural scenery, historical architecture, and peaceful atmosphere captivated us from the very first moment. Everything was thoughtfully planned and flawless. However, one of the most important details that made our stay so special was meeting Kris Jungo, who works at the Front Office. Kris was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home. He patiently answered all our questions and enhanced our vacation with his recommendations, making it much more enjoyable. Kris’s professionalism and warmth were a wonderful reflection of Grandhotel Giessbach’s quality. Staying at this hotel is not only a peaceful getaway but also an opportunity to meet wonderful people. All rooms have a distinctive design and décor, ranging from classic to contemporary. Elegant interiors and spacious marble bathrooms complement the designs. Views extend to the Jungfrau, over the rooftops of Interlaken, or the nearby Harder. The staff was very nice and extremely accommodating.

Quietly situated on the bank of the Aare River amid the Jungfrau ski region, HOP Apartments & Suites is 5 minutes on foot from the centre of Interlaken West and 15 minutes from Interlaken East. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the entire property. Location is excellent. Hosts are very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Newly renovated apartments looked good and were excellent standard. Wonderful view over the river and town, with mountain background. No problems at all.

All rooms at Hotel Alphorn come with a flat-screen cable TV including international news channels, and small bathrooms with showers. They are decorated in marine colours with white furniture. Comfortable and pleasant accommodation. Although there is no air conditioning, the fresh mountain air was more than enough, and even the provided fan was unnecessary. The bed was very comfortable, and the room spacious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We arrived before check-in time due to our planned hike in the surrounding mountains, and this was not a problem – we were initially planning just to leave our luggage, but our room was already ready. The location is excellent, only a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. We also received free public transport tickets for Interlaken from the hotel. Highly recommended!

The family-run Hotel Chalet Du Lac can be found in the charming village of Istelwald near Interlaken, right on the shore of Lake Brienz.

You park your car for free behind the hotel, choose from nicely furnished, comfortable rooms and start every day at the complimentary buffet breakfast. I booked into a single room with balcony overlooking the lake - views are superb! One of the staff who checked me in was friendly and helpful - as I arrived late night and haven't had my dinner, he got me a piece of carrot cake. Breakfast spread was good. Love the quiet walks around Iseltwald and simply reading and resting by the lakeside.

The hotel enjoys an idyllic and quiet location above Wilderswil. It offers panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains and of Lake Brienz and features a heated outdoor pool (open April to October, weather permitting). Location and view are very good and the receptionists very cordial!

The Rössli is a cosy, comfortably furnished hotel enjoying a quiet but central location with a magnificent view of the Jungfrau massif.

Among the hotel's facilities are a garden terrace, a sunbathing area and a cosy lounge, where you can enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. Clean, comfortable, good location and great breakfast. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Jean-louis is an excellent host, he made time to chat with all the guests. Would definitely recommend hotel Rössli if you're staying in Interlaken.
