Located in a quiet and green residential area of Lucerne, a 15-minute walk from the Old Town, this elegant villa offers you stylish rooms with parquet floors and free WiFi. The staff are incredibly nice. The location is very good and it is very easy to get to the city center. The breakfast is amazing, the food is fresh (the bread is particularly amazing!), it definitely went above expectations. We booked the double room in the attic, so we had a private bathroom. The room was very spacious and very nicely decorated. Highly recommend!

The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. We spent a week in the hotel in April. It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.
