Hyvä sijainti rautatieaseman vieressä, jos aikoo kiertää Ticinon kantonissa. Hotellista saa Ticino Ticketin, jolla julkinen liikenne ilmaista. Alas Luganon keskustaan on helppoa siirtyä funicolarella.

Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is located on the lake-side promenade of Ascona, 300 metres from the centre. It offers historic-style rooms and free internet access. The service was exceptional. From the welcome to the upgrade to the dining room staff to the service team, everyone was friendly and went out of their way. It was genuine and made us feel welcome, relaxed, and wanting to return.

Right on the shore of Lake Lugano, this family-run 4-star hotel offers restaurants, free WiFi, and a south-facing outdoor pool with direct lake access. The centre of Lugano is a 10-minute walk away. One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Spacious and very comfortable room, very clean as well, and excellent breakfast. And what could I say about the view? What a view! The combination with the lake surrounded by the mountains is surreal. We will definitely go back soon.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Everything. Didn’t get a chance to use pool but looked inviting! Breakfast was wonderful! Such a lovely place! Great. value! Woodsy with flowers too! Got a free upgrade in hotel! Very helpful!

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. The hotel is absolutely exeptional. Clean, very well managed and up to date on furnishing. The swimming pool is as clean as can be. The pool staff keeps you well aware on upcoming happy hour at the bar :) The hotel garden is wonderful. Palm trees everywhere, quiet park tables for a private piknik. The restaurant behind the hotel is absolutelly great. Plenty of parking. Very short walk to the train station where you can also take the funiculore down to the town. Only good things to say about the breakfast.
