Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

We felt absolutely welcomed by the hotel team and the complimentary services such as tennis courst and bike rentals were more than convenient.

Right on the shore of Lake Lugano, this family-run 4-star hotel offers restaurants, free WiFi, and a south-facing outdoor pool with direct lake access. The centre of Lugano is a 10-minute walk away. Flott og rent hotell. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum, men det er gåavstand inn til sentrum. Frokosten var kjempegod. Anbefaler virkelig rom med utsikt mot sjøen. Flott utsikt utover sjøen, og stort pluss med basseng på hotellet!

Once a patrician residence built in the 18th century, the Hotel Tamaro can be found right on the banks of Lake Maggiore in the centre of Ascona. Hotellet overgikk alle forveninger. Booket hotellet et døgn i forveien, og ba om "det lille ekstra". Det virket som at personalet heiv seg rundt og fikset alt vi ba om. Vi møtte opp på hotellet, fikk en personlig velkomst, og derfra henvist til dems private parkering der vi kunne sette vår egen bil. Hotellet ligger midt i sentrum av Ascona, og det er kort veg til alt du måtte be om. Hotellet bærer preg av prestisje og kvalitet, og man merker det godt at de ønsker at alle gjester skal følge seg velkommen hos dem.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Everything is well organaized, clean. All services, restrictions were well explained in small leaflet they gave me at reception. Receptionists who attended me were all kind and helped me to find a solution, how to get the train etc. The response to my email inquiries prior to my stay was also very quick. It was worth adding a breakfast! What I wasn't expected was "ticino ticket app" that I was given free transport for the duration of my stay. People say that prices are high in Switzerland, but if the service is this good, it is worth it.

The Hotel Du Lac is located 200 metres from the train station, the funicular, the pier and the bus stop for all your excursions and is only a few steps away from Locarno's old town and the lake. Excellent location, staff , could not have been better, Thanks Chubby

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. Staff is incredibly kind and patient. Location is excellent right near the train station but on an absolutely lovely property. Restaurant is also excellent.
