Very good location, especially if you want to see mostly the center of Zurich. The restaurant of the hotel is excellent!!! Clean, and with big rooms considering it is a boutique hotel.

In a tranquil location in Zurich’s Old Town, just 200 metres from the Bahnhofstrasse shopping street, this 5-star hotel occupies 9 adjacent, carefully renovated historic buildings decorated with works... Beautiful hotel in a great location with excellent staff.

Alma Hotel - Boutique hideaway by the lake with rooftop and ladies-only wellness enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus... The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

Because of booking, that allows crap places keep hosting people. In the center of Zurich is very hard to find a place with a good installation. What isn’t the case of this place . I do recommend, the place is clean, organised, the kitchen is full prepaired to host you and you family . Also the extra treats are very nice, it’s a hotel service in a concept of appartment, for sure could also be in the AIR BNB platform , because is extremely organised . Avoid booking and don’t go to crap places with the excuse that It’s in c the center ! This place is wonderful , recommended !

The Marktgasse Hotel is a historic building with low ceilings and sloped floors (not all rooms). Prime location. 10 minute walk to train station. Beautifully appointed rooms.
