Located in Platja d'Aro and set on the beachfront, Cosmopolita Hotel Boutique boasts an outdoor pool and terraces with sea views. Please note that there is no parking at the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly (special thanks to Nik and Sofia). The breakfast was great, with a nice buffet and fresh options like eggs, juice, pancakes, and waffles cooked on the spot. The location is perfect – right on the promenade, just steps from the beach with comfortable sunbeds. There’s also a rooftop pool (though quite small, but great for a refreshing dip), bar, and amazing sea views, plus a small spa with hammam and massages. The room was very clean, housekeeping every day and the bed super comfortable. I also appreciated the complimentary cava from the hotel and the daily water refills in the room 🫶 I would definitely come back!

Offering a shared outdoor pool, Arrels d'Emporda is a pet-friendly aparthotel located in Palafrugell, 300 metres from the city centre. Full kitchen and good room size. Parking onsite for a reasonable fee but plenty of free street parking across the street

Pensió Bellmirall is located in the centre of Girona’s Old Town, just 100 metres from the cathedral. The simple rooms have private bathrooms, and there is a free Wi-Fi hotspot. I was very warmly welcomed and offered a shower to refresh while my room was being prepared, that was very nice! Breakfast was also very yummy, and the whole hotel is very charming.

Hotel Sol Ixent - Adults Only is set in the beautiful Cap de Creus Natural Park, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel was luxurious. The bed was large and comfortable, the room clean the view beautiful and the breakfast substantial and varied.
