Very comfortable hotel, just in the historial center. Breakfast buffet proposes various options and the coffee is very good. In general it is a charming place and very close to all the important sights in Besançon.

Les Capucins is centrally located in a former brewery, just 500 metres from the Belfort Train Station. I booked this hotel truly at the last minute (about 10 minutes before arriving) and requested a baby cot via message. The receptionist kindly and quickly arranged it free of charge before my arrival. In the end, we didn’t even need it because the main bed was huge, and my little daughter slept comfortably with us. In the other room, there was a sofa bed almost the size of a king bed. My son was thrilled because it was right in front of the smart TV. The room was also equipped with a full kitchen, including oven, stove, plenty of utensils, and complimentary coffee capsules. I also really appreciated the two high-quality glass bottles of complimentary water. The amenities were excellent: fresh towels, toiletries, hairdryer, plenty of power sockets conveniently placed for charging phones or using a hair straightener. Everything we needed was there. At check-out, the two young ladies at the reception kindly asked if we would like to enjoy the breakfast buffet, but unfortunately, we had to leave early for another destination. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations – superb quality, very welcoming staff, and excellent attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Set in the heart of the Jura vineyards, Hôtel Auberge de Chavannes is located in Chavanne and provides soundproofed accommodations. You can relax on the furnished terrace, by the garden. Really welcoming and lovely stay. We were very late due to massive delays to our eurotunnel crossing and the hotel were brilliant. Shame we missed out on dinner. The menu looks amazing.

La Chaumiere is located in Dole, between Dijon and Besançon in eastern France. It offers en suite accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a Michelin-starred restaurant. We had a lovely room and the hotel’s lounge, bar and dining area were all excellent. We had the tasting menu dinner, which was outstanding, if a little expensive!
