This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy. Centrally located with easy parking and its own beautiful garden to relax. It's easy to go for a stroll in the city, the funicular is 5 minutes walk away. We had initially booked a room on the 3rd floor but my husband had an injury in the meantime that would have made it complicated to take all the stairs so we called ahead to explain the situation and they were nice enough to find a solution to accommodate us so we could stay on the first floor instead. Great room with 2 separate spaces that was perfect for our baby to sleep quietly in his own space. Breakfast is all home-made and you have something for everyone. The breakfast room is also very pleasant.

We were able to check in early. The residence itself has been beautifully renovated and decorated. We loved the spacious and well appointed "living room" which was a great place for reading and relaxation. The bedroom was spotless and super-comfortable with every amenity. The room was QUIET with a perfect ambiance for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING with very high quality cheeses, ham, bread, yogurt, jams, etc... all locally sourced. Our host provided us with good recommendations for local restaurants. Overall a wonderful ambiance and a memorable stay.

HOTEL ARVERNA VICHY - ClT'HOTEL is located in the heart of the spa-town Vichy, a short walk from the Opera and the congress centre. It offers free Wi-Fi internet access. The hotel was within walking distance to the attractions, activities, and restaurants. They owners were so welcoming, warm, and friendly. The breakfast was outstanding and very delicious with it's wide variety of choices. The courtyard was very relaxing and pleasant. The inside of the hotel reception area was very comfortable. The room was very clean and meticulously well organized from having a refrigerator to a vanity stool to a goody basket of toiletry essentials of items you may have forgotten at home to the in-room coffee and tea. The beds were comfy-we had a great night's sleep. The room was nice and cool; great to enter into after a warm day of exploring Vichy. The shower was super, having the hand wand versus a shower head was great option, and a nice warm shower. Hands down this was a great place to stay!!! We'll be back... Merci Beaucoup!!! Hotel de France ligger i en tidligere skysstasjon i utkanten av Mende sentrum. Hotellet ligger 2 minutters gange fra Mende-katedralen. Alle rommene har aircondition, eget bad og TV. The rooms are beautiful designed and decorated, the staff were warm welcoming and attentive, and the crowning glory in this hotel is the food - fine dining that we were not expecting. Our late arrival led our decision to eat in the hotel, what a happy accident that was, the food is exceptional, exquisite, utterly delicious. Visit especially for the food and you will not be disappointed.
