Set in the Cotswold market town of Tetbury, this charming town house dates back to 1535 and boasts a restaurant with views of the walled garden and fountain. Breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. Excellent coffee too.

Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities. Just perfect. Amazing retreat to the countryside. Great walking routes from the door. The restaurant was excellent! And really fantastic service. The room was lovely, spacious, great bed.

Set in Shipston on Stour, 16 km from Walton Hall, The Old Kiln House has a garden, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. The host is wonderful, the accommodations were exactly what we needed and the food was excellent.

The Keepers Arms is located in the quiet village of Quenington, 15 minutes’ drive from Cirencester and 10 minutes drive from Bibury. This place was delightful and what we felt was a "true glimpse" of the Cotswolds. Our room was ample, had its own ensuite, and was blissfully quiet. Our evening meal was delicious and both the owner and his wife were very welcoming. The breakfast was also excellent and set us up for our trip the next day.

B - Simply Rooms is a family-run property which offers accommodation in Stow-on-the-Wold. It offers a quiet setting, 150 metres from the village square. Hostess checking in to see if all Ok and giving recommendations for places to visit and timing to avoid traffic, also recommended places to dine.

Located in Chipping Campden in the Costwolds region, Badgers Hall B&B is set in a Grade-II listed building dating back to the 15-th century. Food was excellent. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Parking on the street was OK, location a little hit and miss, but very serviceable. Room was large and clean and comfortable.

Just outside Broadway village, Dormy House Hotel & Spa is set within a 17th-century converted farmhouse. Highly recommended for people visiting Cotswolds. Will be back for more nights!

This 17th-century inn is set in the heart of the Cotswolds, boasting beamed ceilings, stone floors and elegant, modern rooms. Rooms were comfy and we had dinner there, several choices of main and a dessert for the coeliac travelling with us, which was appreciated.
