The location of the hotel is on a small square in a Greek village which seems to be the hub for the community. It was fun to sit outside the hotel. or the cafe across the street and watch the world go by. Particularly amusing was the early morning visit by the travelling fishmonger who attracted a lot of local cats.

The beds were very comforable and the view from the open air bar over the bay to Galaxidi town is beatiful. Do opt for their breakfast, there is so much food and it is all delicious! We highly recommend staying here - it's a great place on its own and also as an overnight stay if you plan to visit Delphi.

The host was extremely friendly. The breakfast was excellent and was taken in a lovely courtyard outside. The hotel was a quite old building but it was in an excellent condition and had lots of charm. My bedroom was lovely too. The hotel is a little hard to find so do your map checks beforehand. That said, there were lots of signs around the town as to where the hotel was located. The hotel is situated a short walk from the seafront where there are lots of high end (and popular) restaurants. Galixi itself seeme a very nice town.

Any information you need, what you want to visit, the places where you want to go to the beach will help you. He also helped us with an excellent parking space in Thessaloniki. On departure I also received a gift and because I was leaving early I found breakfast prepared in the room the night before departure.
