La Thomais és una dona meravellosa, que t'acull a la seva casa centenària i lluminosa amb un somriure i uns sucs de taronja acabats d'esprémer. De seguida et sents com a casa i saps que ets al lloc correcte a Chanià! I saps que ho trobaràs a faltar i voldràs tornar-hi el més aviat possible. Si Chanià ha crescut en botigues de souvenirs, restaurants i soroll, aquí trobaràs encara l'atmosfera tranquil·la de la vella Old Town de Chanià, amb les veïnes conversant al carrer, regant les plantes, cretencs saludant... El nostre apartament de Madonna Studios és super net, bonic i molt tranquil. La nostra estada ha estat inoblidable. Ets al cor de l'Old Town i a prop hi ha el jazz-bar Fagotto. Vaig ser en aquest barri va 34 anys i m'ha fet molt feliç tornar-hi i conèixer la Thomais. Ah, i gràcies per tants consells de restaurants i visites (fins i tot ella telefona per reservar taula per a tu) i per preparar uns esmorzars fantàstics a la terrassa! Fins aviat!
