We had a pleasant, comfortable stay at the hotel. Our little ones could sleep safely on the sofa bed, so the parents didn't have to split and guard the kids, as we do in other establishments. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful selection of freshly prepared goods, which we all enjoyed. The historical center is walking distance, even for our 6-year-olds. Our room had a calming view of a small park next to the hotel and the famous Palamidi castle.

Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. The view of the sea and the beauty feeling of having the place all to myself. It’s at the end of the island so you feel so away from the busy street life however is only a 3 minute walk to the busy area. It does get dark at night walking back so perhaps plan to use your phone for light at night.

The breakfast is absolutely amazing, the location is fantastic, the views are perfection. The staff is also really really friendly and the room is really pretty and clean.

Beautifully restored Pension Dafni is located in Nafplio’s Old Town, underneath Palamidi Fortress, 200 metres from Arvanitia Beach. The most gorgeous setting for breakfast- the cherry perserves were incredible! We had everything we needed and more. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Hotel Europa Olympia is built on the top of Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia. Good hotel, fantastic views on the mountain. Good open-air terrace to have a drink, and big a swimming pool to relax after a long day walking.... Good room, very cosy. The staff was very nice, both at the reception and the boy who helped us to look for a space to park our car near the hotel.

Breakfast was delicious and very plentiful. It was more than we could eat. The staff was so helpful — provided lots of recommendations for dinner, the area, and for our exploration of the Mani Peninsula.
