Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. Everything was near perfect. The apartment sits inside an old vaulted building, with a quaint terrace. It’s tasteful, spacious, and comfortable. The location is iconic, the breakfast is the best we’ve had in Greece so far; and the staff is a rather discrete but efficient.

Set amidst lush greenery, at an altitude of 600 metres, the traditionally built Guesthouse Mazaraki is situated close to the picturesque village of Mystras, offering views of the Byzantine castle of... Everything! The staff are magnificent, so generous and genuine. The dinner and breakfast was fantastic. Our room spacious, clean and very comfortable. Can’t fault this place. A real credit to the management and staff

Set in a mid-19th-century neoclassical house right opposite Kapodistrias Square, the boutique hotel Nafsimedon offers a small garden with palm trees overlooking Kolokotronis Park. Very good location. Nice stuff and good room.

Beautifully restored Pension Dafni is located in Nafplio’s Old Town, underneath Palamidi Fortress, 200 metres from Arvanitia Beach. Excellent location right in the center close to all attractions and restaurants. Attentive staff and very clean and recently renovated property. We’ll definitely be back!

Occupying a traditional stone mansion with wonderful views of the surrounding area, Bacchus is a charming and luxurious pension 3 km from Ancient Olympia. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are fully modernized with smart TV and a rain shower in the bathroom. It felt like a real luxury in the middle of a small town. We arrived late in the evening and the host was able to quickly serve us in the restaurant onsite; the food was great tasting and authentically traditional. The breakfast was self service and of excellent quality with pastries, fruit, yogurt and juices/coffee/tea. We only stayed one night and so we didn't make use of the pool or balcony but it looked excellent and well maintained. We would love to return again.

Former residence of a 19th century mayor of Nafplion, Ilion is situated in the centre of the Old Town, overlooking Syntagma Square. It features classical furnishings and rooms with different themes. Great location. Super clean. Fantastic staff.

Hotel Europa Olympia is built on the top of Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia. I'm traveling a lot, but that was first time when personnel was so helpful and nice. They were doing everything to make our stay comfortable. Pool is awesome, but what's the best is restaurant. Perfect dinner in beautiful garden. Don't look for other hotels in area, take this without any doubts, especially superior room. Breakfast are full also :)

Located in Xylokastro, just 15 metres from Pefkias Beach, The Gardens Gallery Hotel boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Let’s start simple - it was just perfect. Rooms were squeaky clean, same goes for the bathroom and the whole hotel. Breakfast was exceptional - you can sit outside in a fairytale garden or inside in a nice stylish room. The breakfast itself was a buffet with all the traditional continental dishes but they had typical Greek pastries, yoghurt and fruits. My heart was absolutely stolen by the staff. There were two ladies who couldn’t be more kind and accommodating. The lady that was there for breakfast is the image of an absolute professional. If I could I would give her 15 stars out of 10.
