Location is amazing, in the Ferrara old town, within walking distance from practically every historic sighting, but also very near some free street parking, where we could leave our car. Staff is very kind and communication about the checkin process went very well. Great value for money overall!

Salami, breads and sweet and savoury pastries are served daily for breakfast along with muesli, fresh fruit and hot drinks. Gluten-free items are available upon request. I was very warmly welcomed when I arrived in the evening and a slightly flickery lightbulb I mentioned was replaced before I got back from dinner. My single room was a good size and with a decent desk and a very comfortable bed; it was immaculately clean. The street was pleasantly quiet, although at the absolute centre of the city. The breakfast room was very attractively decorated and the provision was varied and good. There was a range of gluten-free options. Throughout my stay enjoying Ferrara in an increasingly cold week I knew I would come home to a cosy place and a kindly greeting. The Christmas tree was lovely too! A model lesson in how the personal touch makes all the difference in business.
