The location was ideal for a stay in Perugia. Very central but quiet. My room was very comfortable and clean. The ambience was warm and I enjoyed the artwork, the delicious breakfast and cappuccinos, and the warm welcome and assistance from the family. Michele talked me into going to Assisi (no regrets), gave me other recommendations and was a delight to converse with!

We spent a week in this traditional, comfortable, roomy suite with a sweet outdoor sitting area. High standard of cleanliness, towels changed frequently and it felt like a home away from home. Exceptional location and Serena was very friendly and available to give suggestions for dinner. The breakfast was a bonus in the little family run cafe downstairs. We loved our time in Orvieto and at La Magnolia. Highly recommended!

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. Stayed 3 nights, liked everything! + Convenient location + Comfortable room with a double bed, good shower, quiet, clean, wifi works well. + Friendly staff + Good breakfast in a very atmospheric room. + Value for money. The room is really very beautiful with an amazing view. We were warm and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Right near the central square (100m) but quiet. There are lovely restuarants nearby and its a lovely town. It was such a treat to stay there. Thank you Alessandro!

All though you are in a hotel, you truly feel like if you are home. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. Great coffee. I got a beautiful room with an amazing balcony view. The bed was really comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean. The location is great because you have the bus station across the street. Assisi is a little town in a mountain so the streets go up and down. This hotel is located in the upper part so you can cross all the town in your way down and is really easy to go back to the hotel using the bus if you want to avoid the uphills, although is a beautiful experience to walk up and down. Nearby you can find several little restaurants and a beautiful church. The hotel has its own parking lot so if you get there driving is a facility. If you don’t get there driving, the driveway is in front of the hotel so you won’t get any trouble to get there with your luggage. That is something quite important having in consideration that in Assisi there are lots of streets with no car access and that makes the luggage handling difficult. The staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful.
