Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! The house and the facilities were amazing. I had to admit that I did not have the chance to enjoy them as they should due to my travel schedule, but next time I come to Japan on holidays I will spend at least a couple of nights here. Also the staff was very friendly.

Staff friendly, and the foot bath in front of the hotel was very welcome.

It is located 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and provides luggage storage space. Museum of History and Folklore is 1.1 km from the ryokan and Shiraito Falls is 1.5 km away. Thank you for a beautiful stay here. There are only a few rooms, which makes it super private and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and super clean and comfortable. They even provide free coffee in the lobby. Location is superb, just 3min walking from the ferry port (but still super quiet and peaceful)

The woman at the front desk who is fluent in English explained everything there is to see at Miyajima, providing details like how long it will take to reach each attraction, when the tides change, what to see at night, even nearby restaurant recommendations. She made our stay that much more comfortable. I loved our room as well, though a bit noisy during the day given that it faces the street, it was very clean with a roomy washroom and wood tub - very relaxing to come back to. I wish we could have stayed longer! The location is also very convenient located on Miyajima Omotesando

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Location was fantastic, just a few steps away from the Itsukushima shrine. Comfortable Japanese style room with fab views of the sea. The staff was very polite and breakfast was worth the extra money.
