Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! The guesthouse was very clean, spacious and offered an included light evening meal and breakfast. The kitchen was spotless and every detail taken care of. The property was in a good location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Costs were very reasonable for what was offered and I recommend the guesthouse and would stay there again.

I highly recommend bathing in the hot springs; I hiked to the top of Mount Misen in the day, and relaxing the sore muscles in the hot spring in the evening really was divine! Dinner was amazing; absolutely delicious and you could tell how much passion they put into creating it.

Thank you for a beautiful stay here. There are only a few rooms, which makes it super private and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and super clean and comfortable. They even provide free coffee in the lobby. Location is superb, just 3min walking from the ferry port (but still super quiet and peaceful)

The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and everything was very well organized. Schedules and services were always punctual and reliable, which made the experience even more comfortable. We truly felt well taken care of and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is featured in Michelin Green Guide Japan 2013. A free shuttle is available from Hiroshima Station, a 30-minute ride away. Very small room, but known in advance, so acceptable. Would have loved the change to pay for an upgrade to a larger room, but the hotel was full. I thought the staff did an excellent job to accommodate all of our needs and wishes. Would stay here again for sure. Club was delightful and staff nicely engaged.
