The entire hotel is very well adapted to cyclists - you can park your bike right next to your room, which is amazing! The breakfasts were awesome - warm food served on a hot pan will fuel you on your cycling journey. There's also the Giant store where you can rent your bike.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). The most Japanese feeling place we've stayed on the whole trip - even though it was full of western tourists. Nice place to stay on the island and experience the quiet once the daytrippers have headed back to the mainland. The evening curry was a nice surprise.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Very clean and accesible facilities. They provide free transportation from/to the hotel - ferry station.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Beautiful property, excellent staff AND amazing dinner. Just incredible.

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away. The property is right in between the ferry port and the town / O’Torii. The staff was super friendly, the rooms spacious and fully equipped, they even had kimonos for us! On top of everything, the hotel has it’s own private onsen!!! We relaxed after a day of walking around and the next day, upon leaving, the staff gifted us a couple of umbrellas for it was pouring and we didn’t have any. Our mystical stay at Miyajima couldn’t have been such without Sakuraya :)

Located next to Kanayamacho Tram Station, Chisun Hotel Hiroshima is a 5-minute walk from shopping area Hatchobori. Free WiFi is available. The room is small, but for a very good price, and at a great location. The staff was very helpful and everything in our stay passed smoothly. Thank you for having us
