Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. Very convenient hotel with lovely staff. Special thanks to Pierre who gave me full guidance about the city. Hotel has great location not far from Gion district and Nishiki market. Breakfast was great.

Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. The owner was such a blessing, so generous of his time, and interested by our stories. Also gave so much good tips for enjoying the city.

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. Excellent breakfast and as usual in Japan very helpful staff.

Hostel Piece Kyoto otvoren je u travnju 2013. s potpuno novim sadržajima, a nalazi se na dobroj lokaciji, na samo 5 minuta hoda od kolodvora JR Kyoto. The best hostel we've been to so far. The staff is amazing and very helpful, the location, the amenities were great. Nothing to complain about!

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Everything. Everything was impecable, and the attention from the staff was astounding.

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. I had so many expectations and Ekoin delivered everything. The temple itself is gorgeous, it is over 1.000 years, but so well kept, just impecable tatamis, garden, paintings, artwork. Also, it is so close to Okunoin cementery...i loved this part of town, so calm, feels like another time. The shared restrooms were a concern before getting there, but they ended up being one of the best of our entire trip - the bath is at the onsen, but is was ok for a day. Also, they provide a guide book to temple etiquette/schedules -just READ IT, do not go to morning service wearing yukata and do not arrive late. The monks are kind enough to let it go, but it is very disrespectful. The food is great, even though we are not vegetarians, we loved shojing ryori! And our favourite part was the morning service and the goma/fire ritual, do not miss it.

Hotel Kyoto Century nalazi se na svega 2 minute hoda od Željezničkog kolodvora Kyoto, a u sklopu objekta gostima su na raspolaganju klimatizirane sobe s besplatnim pristupom internetu, 3 restorana i... The hotel has easy access to the main train station which allowed us to do our day trips to Nara very easily. Excellent access to city Metro. Excellent underground shopping and restaurants. The room was very nice, clean, beds were comfy. Good breakfast. But the most impressive was the incredibly helpful staff. The staff helped us obtain tickets to the World Expo and went above and beyond helping us with that. EXCELLENT STAFF!!!!!!

Directly accessible within Kansai International Airport, Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport - 3 mins walk to the airport features comfortable rooms with free WiFi. We were only there for one night but the room was fabulous . Possibly the best hotel room I've ever been in

Nestled in a quiet residential area, Kyoto Brighton Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. All guest rooms are non-smoking and soundproofed. Everything was really outstanding. Staff were very helpful. breakfast was incredible and the room was so spacious!

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. it went more than well.... I can't think of anything I do not like. If I come to Nara again , will definitely stay again.
