Piece Hostel Sanjo biedt privékamers en slaapzalen in het hart van Kyoto. The place was well kept. You can take free towels from the reception. And there was a water station downstairs.

Traditional Japanese breakfast was very tasty and well-served, as everynthing else during our stay. Breakfast changed a little bit from day to day. They also have vegan option, which was important for one of us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable even it was traditional Japanese futon. The staff were the nicest persons ever. The room was cleaned every day.

De 1000-jaar oude boeddhistische tempel 高野山 宿坊 恵光院 -Koyasan Syukubo Ekoin Temple- biedt accommodatie in Japanse stijl, een prachtige tuin en gratis WiFi. Everything. An aamazing experience really worth the money (I got a last minute room, I can highly recommend). Koyasan is a lit less touristy than, say, Kyoto.

The hotel’s location is right beside the train station, making it very convenient. The room was big and clean, the beds were comfortable as well. Loved the autumn foliage display board in the lobby - it is updated everyday and shows the autumn colors at various temples. Breakfast offered a wide spread ranging from Western options like buns and salads to Japanese dishes such as miso soup, oden, grilled fish and steamed buns, along with fruits and ice cream. The concierge service is outstanding. The staff are fluent in English, incredibly attentive, and made the check-in experience smooth and pleasant. They were very friendly and patient in answering all our enquiries & offering helpful suggestions. As we were unable to have breakfast on the last morning, they kindly prepared breakfast bento box for us.

Directly accessible within Kansai International Airport, Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport - 3 mins walk to the airport features comfortable rooms with free WiFi. The location is excellent for early flights – just a few minutes’ walk to Kansai Airport. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the hotel is well connected to the terminal. Staff were professional and check-in was smooth, which made everything stress-free before departure.

Breakfast was very tasty with big assortment of food. Not a central location was fully compensated by shuttle bus going each 20 minutes.
