Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei ligger en 10-minutters spasertur fra livlige Kawaramachi. Her tilbys du en turistinformasjon og bar i 1. Har sjelden følt meg så hjemme på et hotell. Alle som jobbet på hotellet tok seg god tid og ga gode råd. Hotellet og rommet var sjarmerende med sin tradisjonelle utforming- men med velfungerende aircondition og alt annet vi trengte. God frokost. Perfekt beliggenhet- nær severdigheter og restauranter- men i en rolig gate uten mange turister.

The owner was such a blessing, so generous of his time, and interested by our stories. Also gave so much good tips for enjoying the city.

Piece Hostel Kyoto åpnet i april 2013 med splitter nye fasiliteter og ligger beleilig til, bare en 5-minutters spasertur fra JR Kyoto stasjon. The best hostel we've been to so far. The staff is amazing and very helpful, the location, the amenities were great. Nothing to complain about!

Morizuya ligger vendt mot handlegaten midt i Kinosaki Onsen, som har varme kilder. Her tilbys du rom i autentisk japansk stil, termalbad og japansk mat. Du kan bruke fargerike yukata-kåper på stedet. Everything. Everything was impecable, and the attention from the staff was astounding.

Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in er et 1000 år gammelt buddhistisk tempel, og tilbyr gratis Wi-Fi, en vakker hage og rom i japansk stil. I had so many expectations and Ekoin delivered everything. The temple itself is gorgeous, it is over 1.000 years, but so well kept, just impecable tatamis, garden, paintings, artwork. Also, it is so close to Okunoin cementery...i loved this part of town, so calm, feels like another time. The shared restrooms were a concern before getting there, but they ended up being one of the best of our entire trip - the bath is at the onsen, but is was ok for a day. Also, they provide a guide book to temple etiquette/schedules -just READ IT, do not go to morning service wearing yukata and do not arrive late. The monks are kind enough to let it go, but it is very disrespectful. The food is great, even though we are not vegetarians, we loved shojing ryori! And our favourite part was the morning service and the goma/fire ritual, do not miss it.

The hotel has easy access to the main train station which allowed us to do our day trips to Nara very easily. Excellent access to city Metro. Excellent underground shopping and restaurants. The room was very nice, clean, beds were comfy. Good breakfast. But the most impressive was the incredibly helpful staff. The staff helped us obtain tickets to the World Expo and went above and beyond helping us with that. EXCELLENT STAFF!!!!!!

Directly accessible within Kansai International Airport, Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport - 3 mins walk to the airport features comfortable rooms with free WiFi. We were only there for one night but the room was fabulous . Possibly the best hotel room I've ever been in

Nestled in a quiet residential area, Kyoto Brighton Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. All guest rooms are non-smoking and soundproofed. Everything was really outstanding. Staff were very helpful. breakfast was incredible and the room was so spacious!

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. it went more than well.... I can't think of anything I do not like. If I come to Nara again , will definitely stay again.
