Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. The location was great. Also, the room was spacious enough for Japan standards.

Traditional Japanese breakfast was very tasty and well-served, as everynthing else during our stay. Breakfast changed a little bit from day to day. They also have vegan option, which was important for one of us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable even it was traditional Japanese futon. The staff were the nicest persons ever. The room was cleaned every day.

Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. We loved the place. Very well placed, only a 5min walk from the Gion area and many temples. The owners are the nicest people, and gave us a lot of help on our trip. They also have a bike rental for 600Y per day which was very handy. The free breakfast they give is great and we also had the japanese breakfast one day which we loved. The room was spacious and very nice, with great air conditioning and nice futons. We also used the laundring service. We loved the place and highlt recommend it

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. Everything about our stay was fantastic! The room was absolutely fabulous, and we were delighted to receive an upgrade. Having our own private onsen-style facility in the bathroom made the experience truly special. The monk staff were incredibly gracious, friendly, and always ready to help.

The location is excellent for early flights – just a few minutes’ walk to Kansai Airport. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the hotel is well connected to the terminal. Staff were professional and check-in was smooth, which made everything stress-free before departure.

Nestled in a quiet residential area, Kyoto Brighton Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. All guest rooms are non-smoking and soundproofed. Fantastic facilities, great breakfast. My kids loved it! Among the many hotels we stayed at, at this one all the hotel staff were very fluent in English.
