The most memorable experience of my stay was the breakfasts and kaiseki dinners, very dish were delish and meticulously prepared with the freshest ingredients.

Opened in 2012, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kagoshima is just a 2-minute walk from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Train Station and features a French restaurant and massage services. The best location for my needs. The underground passageway between AMU Plaza and this hotel made it incredibly convenient, especially in bad weather. The staff was friendly and spoke English, and they stored my luggage until it was time to check in. The room was a good size and very quiet, so I could sleep very well. I love the view of the Ferris wheel across my room at night. I needed to catch the airport limousine bus in the morning, so this place was PERFECT. One of the most convenient and cleanest hotels I've stayed at.
