Would absolutely stay there again!! It's a short walking distance to several temples and shrines, to the Oura church and Glover garden, and not to forget the river with beautiful bridges, kois, birds and turtles, it is the perfect place for a morning stroll, taking the steps down to the water and walk along the river. The tramway has a stop right outside and it takes you everywhere worth going.

Opened in 2012, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kagoshima is just a 2-minute walk from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Train Station and features a French restaurant and massage services. Incredible location! I mean, RIGHT across the street from the JR station. You can't beat that. Really comfortable room with a beautiful view of the station and the ferris wheel. The bed was super comfortable, I had a hard time getting out of it because I slept so well. Great amenities. I can't wait to stay here again and for longer!
