We had an amazing time at Hill Cottage. It is a real hidden gem. Nestled behind the Grand Hotel, it gives the same old world charm but with a wonderfully personal touch. The team really seem to enjoy what they do and want to give everyone the best experience possible. Our son particularly loved the lively badminton matches with the staff who went out of their way to make him feel like family. He was so sad to leave. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that offers warm welcomes, big smiles and a touch of old world charm, Hill Cottage is for you!

Very spacious and comfortable- 6 bedrooms with very large lounge spaces to accommodate any kind of leisure. Set on very large private grounds the property is very peaceful and relaxing yet close to the town and main attractions. We were very lucky to be the only guests for 3 days and were pampered by the wonderful Roshan and his team. Superb cooking, fabulous house keeping, a welcoming fire and a wake up pot of tea to our room first thing. Roshan also arranged transport and laundry for us. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so attentive and helpful. We were arriving in later than expected and they had food prepared for us. The breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect as well very close to everything. Couldn’t recommend the accommodation enough - really happy with the accommodation and again the staff were just so great.
