Everything was wonderful. The place is this beautiful colonial building sorrounded by the lush greenery of Sri Lanka. They have two pools and the restaurant is facing one of them. The rooms are beautiful as well. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner and all the staff was very helpful acommodating the needs of my two children. It was too short of a stay. I'd have loved to spend some more time enjoying the facilities. We stopped there because our plane was arriving at the airport in the evening. From the airport to the Villa is just around 20min.

He and the staff are friendly which felt good. 😊 It is near to Beach Road with all the eateries. The hotel has a swimming pool which is in a peaceful setting with plants and trees, a real treat after the coming back from the busy Beach Road.

Otha Shy Airport Hotel offers accommodation in Katunayaka. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. I reserved a room at this hotel for a client of mine who was transiting through Sri Lanka. Despite my client arriving in the country at 5 am, they kindly accepted. They extended the check-out time to 14:00, instead of noon! And with no additional fee! One of the hotel staff was exceptionally kind and shared her WhatsApp with me, and made sure we could constantly keep in touch to arrange the stay for my client. Thank you for your hospitality!
