This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. The Ashburnham Estate is quiet and peaceful with fresh air and comfortable accommodation. We loved how unique it is, and the history is also interesting. We stayed 6 nights and were sad to leave. The staff made us feel very welcome from the instant we arrived. We loved the private waterfall and lovely swimming pool with stunning views. I know I will dream of this place for years to come. They even made me a special cake for my birthday. The chef there is very talented and I’m already missing their cooked breakfasts and 3 course candlelit dinners on the terrace. Very good afternoon tea made from their own blend too. Mostly we will miss Vish and his helpful kind care. Nothing was too much trouble. I hope to one day be fortunate enough to go back.

Sigiriya is located within the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Featuring the best view of the Lion’s Rock, it offers an outdoor pool, restaurant and free parking. Everything . Place is like paradise. Staff was the best! I felt like home.

L'Arika ofereix vista sobre la zona verda dels voltants, una piscina exterior i una sauna. Les habitacions són còmodes i tenen aire condicionat i terrassa privada. Great stay, Mr. Nish and his team went out of their way to take care of us. The food was excellent, we even extended our stay by a night!
