Susa staat elk moment voor je klaar om een taxi of tour te regelen. Zelfs de was werd netjes geregeld! Een echte aanrader!

Deze bungalow uit de jaren 30 van de vorige eeuw is gevestigd op een theeplantage van 40 hectare, aan de voet van de Knuckles-bergketen. The Ashburnham Estate is quiet and peaceful with fresh air and comfortable accommodation. We loved how unique it is, and the history is also interesting. We stayed 6 nights and were sad to leave. The staff made us feel very welcome from the instant we arrived. We loved the private waterfall and lovely swimming pool with stunning views. I know I will dream of this place for years to come. They even made me a special cake for my birthday. The chef there is very talented and I’m already missing their cooked breakfasts and 3 course candlelit dinners on the terrace. Very good afternoon tea made from their own blend too. Mostly we will miss Vish and his helpful kind care. Nothing was too much trouble. I hope to one day be fortunate enough to go back.

Hotel Sigiriya ligt in de Culturele Driehoek van Sri Lanka, die op de werelderfgoedlijst van de UNESCO staat. Alleen maar positief over dit hotel. Fijne, stille en schone kamers. Heerlijk ontbijt en heel uitgebreid. Hele goede laundry service. Op loopafstand van leuke straatje met restaurant/barretjes. Al het personeel is zo vriendelijk en beleefd. Iedereen die je tegenkomt zegt gedag. Fijn zwembad met genoeg ligbedjes met handdoeken service.

Heritance Kandalama is een rustig toevluchtsoord gelegen in de heuvels en biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op de rotsvesting Sigiriya. To be honest, it is hard to say that the room condition or service quality is equal or better than 5-star hotels. So if you expect perfection as a hotel, you may be slightly disappointed. The room condition is a bit old. However, the experience of staying here cannot be evaluated simply by the quality of the accommodation. It is the best. Here, you can feel the philosophy of Bawa that you should be immersed in nature. If you understand Bawa, such as the depth of experience, the meaning of space, and nature and architecture, Heritance Kandalama is a place that has more value than that. The best hotel

Aliya Resort & Spa ligt te midden van weelderig tropisch groen, tegenover de rots Sigiriya. Het resort heeft een buitenzwembad, een fitnesscentrum en 4 eetgelegenheden. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. The staff was incredibly helpful after my friend had an injury hiking. Most appreciative of their attentiveness.
