Features include free breakfast and WiFi.... The best guesthouse I have EVER stayed in and therefore deserves a lot of compliments. Well- equipped - almost everything you needed has been thought of by the host. It came with a touch of class and luxury too. Felt like at least a 4 to 5-star room. The room was spacious. The room was separate from the main bungalow and was therefore very private. The location was also excellent - near the main streets with shops and yet off it so that it was very quiet. Well done Rock Arch!

This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. The Ashburnham Estate is quiet and peaceful with fresh air and comfortable accommodation. We loved how unique it is, and the history is also interesting. We stayed 6 nights and were sad to leave. The staff made us feel very welcome from the instant we arrived. We loved the private waterfall and lovely swimming pool with stunning views. I know I will dream of this place for years to come. They even made me a special cake for my birthday. The chef there is very talented and I’m already missing their cooked breakfasts and 3 course candlelit dinners on the terrace. Very good afternoon tea made from their own blend too. Mostly we will miss Vish and his helpful kind care. Nothing was too much trouble. I hope to one day be fortunate enough to go back.

Sigiriya ligger i Sri Lankas kulturtriangel, som står på UNESCOs verdensarvliste. Fantastisk beliggenhet fredelig, omgitt av jungel og dyrelyder. Deilig bassengområde og fantastisk middagsbufe. Gåavstand til lite sentrum med gode spisesteder.

Heritance Kandalama er et fredelig sted å trekke seg tilbake til, og ligger i åsene. Her tilbys du panoramautsikt over Sigiriya og fantastisk arkitektur. To be honest, it is hard to say that the room condition or service quality is equal or better than 5-star hotels. So if you expect perfection as a hotel, you may be slightly disappointed. The room condition is a bit old. However, the experience of staying here cannot be evaluated simply by the quality of the accommodation. It is the best. Here, you can feel the philosophy of Bawa that you should be immersed in nature. If you understand Bawa, such as the depth of experience, the meaning of space, and nature and architecture, Heritance Kandalama is a place that has more value than that. The best hotel

Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection ligger ongitt av frodig, tropisk vegetasjon. Hotellet er helt fantastisk og var det beste hotellet på hele ferien vår på Sri Lanka. Utrolig fin velkomst og rommene er over all forventning. Treningsrommet er velutstyrt og skikkelig bra. Bassenget er en opplevelse i seg selv😊 Maten er nydelig. I tillegg er det masse aktiviteter man kan gjøre på hotellet. Ungene våre fikk prøve å lage keramikk, male det, besøke papirverkstedet og prøve innendørs sportshall😊 Veldig velholdt, veldig rent. I tillegg var de ansatte veldig oppmerksomme på behov og tok oss med på ulike utflukter. Og utsikten er helt unik!

Our stay at Arika Villa was beyond our expectations. The owner is a gem of a person and treat you as a your own family. Spectacular location , very close to sigriya loin fortress.
