Each day when I returned, it was wonderful to sit in the lobby or out in the garden. It was great to have a small well stocked bar. The breakfast featured a tasty, cooked Mexican main dish which was tailored to guests’ preferences. There were many choices besides the main. All were fresh and well presented. All this said, it was the staff at reception that was the highlight of my stay. They were patient and incredibly helpful, assisting with tour arrangements, dinner recommendations and travel. I was impressed by every aspect of this bed and breakfast and highly recommend a stay there.

Situated just 350 metres from the Frida Kahlo House, this family-run guest house offers charming rooms with free WiFi, TV and a private bathroom. Allende Park is a 2-minute walk away. Wonderful hosts! The house and the rooms are very pleasant (and the bed comfortable). The breakfast is fantastic with variety every day. The hosts went out of their way to kindly accommodate my early arrival and late departure - much appreciated. I will definitely come again. I stayed for 6 nights and loved having Coyoacan as my base. As a solo single woman traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe.
